Meet the Bernese Mountain Dog puppies behind every class.
Downward Dog Puppy Yoga is built around sweet, social Bernese Mountain Dog puppies from Riverside Berners, the predominantly sole source for our public classes and private events.
Public classes operate on weekends, and private events can be scheduled during the week by request. You can contact us pretty much anytime to start planning.
Our puppies come from a breeder we know.
Every puppy at Downward Dog Puppy Yoga comes through Riverside Berners, a Texas-based Bernese Mountain Dog breeder with published health, care, handling, and socialization standards.
Riverside is the predominantly sole source for our classes, which keeps temperament, age, and handling consistent week to week.

Calm, cuddly, social, and built for soft-paced yoga.
Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for being affectionate, people-oriented, and gentle. That is why they fit the slower, softer rhythm of puppy yoga so naturally.
The goal is not chaos. The goal is a warm room where puppies can explore, rest, interact, and be handled calmly while guests enjoy beginner-friendly movement.

The room is measured around puppy comfort.
The class format is intentionally gentle: 45 minutes of beginner-friendly yoga with puppies present in the room, followed by 30 minutes of dedicated puppy cuddle and photo time.
Soft handling.
Guests are guided toward calm, respectful interaction so puppies can approach, rest, or move around the room naturally.
Gentle class flow.
The yoga stays beginner-friendly and relaxed, with plenty of room for puppy moments without forcing the pace.
Clean studio setup.
Mats are provided, guests complete a waiver, and the room is managed for a puppy-friendly experience.
A soft, supervised puppy experience from start to finish.
Puppies are present during the yoga portion, not saved for the end. They move through the room, settle near mats, climb into laps, and help make the experience feel light and memorable.
After the yoga portion, the room shifts into dedicated puppy cuddle time for photos, gentle handling, and a slower finish.

Rescue events will have their own special-event lane.
Regular Downward Dog Puppy Yoga classes feature Bernese Mountain Dog puppies from Riverside Berners. We are also evaluating rescue partners for future special puppy yoga events that support local rescue work.
When rescue events are available, we will announce the partner organization, event purpose, and how the class supports that rescue. That keeps the regular Bernese class experience clear while giving us room to support community rescue efforts the right way.
Puppies with personality, not a mystery litter.
The Riverside Berners relationship helps guests know what kind of puppy experience they are booking: Bernese Mountain Dog puppies, soft social energy, and a class format built around gentle interaction.
Occasional rescue or community special events may happen separately, but regular Downward Dog Puppy Yoga classes are centered around Bernese puppies.
Good puppy questions have simple answers.
We keep the puppy information clear because animal care matters. Guests should know where the puppies come from, how the room is supervised, and what kind of interaction to expect.
